Question
If I call animal control on this guy who has mom and puppies, can I ask to take them once they're with animal control?
Answer
There is no guarantee that a person who contacts animal control regarding an animal’s care will get to adopt that animal if the animal is seized by or surrendered to animal control. However, that certainly should not stop a person who is aware of animal cruelty or neglect from reporting the mistreatment.
